Phạm Ngọc Mỵ approaches lacquer painting with a strong belief in the power of subtlety, simplicity, and intention. Rather than seeking dramatic subjects or grand gestures, she turns her focus to what is often overlooked—the quiet beauty of everyday life and the inherent limitations of the lacquer medium. It is within these constraints that she finds freedom, drawing strength from the challenge of expressing depth through minimal means.

Nét Sơn solo exhibition is the culmination of nearly two decades of dedicated practice. It is a testament to Pham Ngoc My’s belief that true artistry is not rushed—it is cultivated, with intention and devotion, over time.
