Truong Trieu Duong, a distinguished Vietnamese artist born in 1982

Duong’s profound artistic vision is uniquely captivated not by the fleeting beauty of fresh blooms, but by the melancholic grace of withering flowers and leaves. He finds inspiration in the subtle signs of decay, exploring “the oldness of their existence”.

His work delves into “moments of fleetingness between presence and fading into nothingness”, inviting viewers to contemplate the delicate balance between life and its eventual disappearance.

This philosophy is beautifully encapsulated in his paintings, a poignant still life where the ephemeral beauty of dying flowers becomes a powerful vehicle for contemplation.

He is currently holding a Master of Fine Arts from the Vietnam University of Fine Arts.
