Inspiration

Simplicity is the soul in Ta Thi Thanh Tam’s artwork. It is meant to preserve the innocence and carefreeness of childhood in the countryside. ‘The simplicity originated from generalization of more complex things would add to her paintings than from an easy-going style. The joy and sadness should be implied more profoundly in blank plain and utterly basic contours’ by Phan Cam Thuong, Vietnamese art critic.
